NBB is an international network of specialised consultants in financial services for SMEs. NBB’s specialisations include the purchase and sale of businesses (business brokerage), mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and private equity. The company has become a leader in the sector, which is reflected by the fact that it is present in four continents of the world. NBB provides high-quality services that have a global impact, at the same time as giving local solutions that are based on highly-specialised methods and tools as well as on strategic partnerships and alliances with the main market operators.
The company was founded in 2001, as the result of a joint venture between a Swedish group that had 30 years’ experience in business brokerage and a Portuguese group, Onebiz, a leader in specialised business services. Onebiz took over the Swedish company in 2006, and changed ownership to 100% Portuguese private capital.
In 2011, the Portuguese group Sartorial acquired NBB.
